Up to now, I’ve never really shared with my family or friends that I am and have been a certified Personal/Life Coach for more than 10 years. I’ll tell you why at the end of this article.

Today is about questions! Very POWERFUL questions that help and lead people to discover what prevents them from being successful. I’m about to share with you some “Coaching” information that is held very dearly by the coaching profession, takes years to learn and apply, yet is the basis for exponential change opportunities for people.

Doesn’t matter if the challenge is extra weight, a dead end job, feelings of failure, or any other challenge in your life. These questions will help you clarify,  identify and  create actionable plans to change your challenges into opportunity.

In “Coaching” some of the most powerful questions asked, start with “WHAT?”. There are very good reasons, based in sound psychology that we just don’t have time to cover in  this article. I think you’ll see the power of “WHAT” as we identify some of the Best Life Changing Questions Ever!

Many clients that I work with often describe reaching a wall that they can’t seem to get over, around or through – no matter what they try. Often it stymies them into a mode of “in-action”, usually based on fear of failure, fear of change and sometimes fear of success. Coaching question help people to recognize these fears for what they are and set in place actionable, measurable plans to move past unproductive behaviours.coach

Finally before we get to the actually questions, you won’t be actually working with a Coach – so to make the most from these questions, I urge you to  read each question. Reflect on you answer, then write down your answer on a separate piece of paper before moving onto the next question. If you really want to be successful as possible, find yourself a Personal Coach to work with. If you need help with that, let me know.

Here they are:

  1. What past negative problems/reflections keep popping into your present day thought?
  2. What kind of problems and crises do you keep attracting?
  3. What reoccurring things do you keep doing that limits your success?
  4. What games are you playing with yourself and others? (Where do you fool or kid yourself? – Where do you cause problems or sabotage yourself?)
  5. What are the top 3 primary things that you are attached to in your life?
  6. What are you doing that is a waste of time?
  7. What is the single most important “want” that you have for yourself?
  8. What would a fully successful day look like to you?
  9. What would your dream day look like? (this is different than being successful)
  10. What are you most grateful for?

Bonus Questions (Always give more that you promise!)

  1. What legacy do you want to leave to others?
  2. What’s the 1st thing you need to do now?

These questions are meant to be thought provoking, situational, inquiring, and probing type questions. The last couple of questions take you into thinking on solution, action and encouraging driven thinking. You CAN do this on your own if you’re motivated to seriously look at what drives you in your decisions today and what you’d like to seriously change tomorrow. Obviously working with a professional Life/Personal coach would be more effective, but I am convinced that you can make successful change yourself, IF you’re ready to commit to a new YOU.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this article I said I’d tell you the problems I’ve run into by not sharing that I’m a Life/Personal coach. We all have our challenges and this one is one of mine. I usually I get myself in trouble, both with family and friends because when I hear people struggling with life issues, I find it impossible not to want to help, so I’ll try and provide “coaching” couched in advice. If you’ve received advice from me before, it’s not because I’m trying to give a grammar lesson or lessons on social networking etiquette. It’s really about possibilities, potential, attitude and the ability to positively influence people to allow them to achieve the “state of being” the best possible you.

I’m working on not coaching unless asked. What are You going to work on?
