Consider asking to have all the fluid withdrawn and readded plus the extra bit. I found at my third fill the band needed to be re adjusted which is essentially what I mentioned above.

Yes , that is exactly what Dr A did …he poked me 7 times before he found the port opening…thats never happened before …thank goodness it doesn't hurt…not much feeling at the port site…anyway when I lose another 20 lbs ..I will come back for another fill…so I asked how much was in my band and the Dr didn\\t want to get into a number game , he said it is all individual …I still vomit..when I don\\t pay attention to the size of the food that I put in ..it cloggs the opening…..but I still wanted more restriction so I am on soft food and liquids for the next month…one thing I noticed on the scale read- out that the doctors nurse gives you is it tells you how dehydrated you are. 38%.and I should be between 51% and 60% fluid TBW on the little paper slip …so its important to DRINK plenty of liquid …which is hard for me….anyway I am 22 lbs to goal and walking for an hour every day !!!!

I found after Dr A done the unfill refill on me I went through the worst time I have had post surgery. Usually I was uncomfortable for a few days post fill but this lasted nearly 3 weeks. It wasn't the fill it was me. I went back on the immediate psot Op diet and thigns settled down. I am thinking I need another adjustment cause I can eat way to much and the wrong stuff. No real restirction now….

I am feeling very restricted , with gurgulling …which is not a good sign..I go to lap band talk .com and they have alot more bandster's discussing some of their problems but alot of successes….I have not had bread for 1.5 years no crackers taco chips nothing….and yes they go down really well…everything bad goes down well that's the reason Dr A says its 90% us and 10% surgery…Kelly …bmp up excersize it'll jump start your weight lose again KEEP the FAITH!!
