Yea, I got my gastroscopy date on Aug. 20th. One step
closer to having my tests done. Then I just need to see Dr. Sanders
Respirologist and the anaesthetist. I am quite excited. Not worried
about it either. Frances

Yeah Frances Im very glad you got this appointment date for the scope. It will go very smoothly, yes one step closer to getting a surgery date. Cant wait to hear when you get that date for surgery.

surgery Feb 3/2009 Dr. Rusnak & Dr. Amson, Im down 163 lbs with 47 lbs more to go til goal weight.

First visit with Dr. Tang December 2009, second visit June 2010. Switched to Dr. Sampath, first visit April 2011. RNY done on October 17, 2011!!! HW:260 SW:232 CW:176.5 (March 31/12) GW:150

My date is August 20th – So excited to get one more test done.

Good luck Frances. I started this WLS trip with Dr. Sanders about two years ago. He pointed the way to Dr. Amson for me. I am due for my scope on Sept 7 which was postponed from July 15. Don't get miffed or anything if they change the time. It won't likely affect your surgery date and they will get to you. But thinking on the positive side there will be no cancellations and everything will be just fine.
It is so cool to get all those tests and interviews ticked off your list. To me it feels like you are taking a flight and made it through the security screening station and are now waiting in the boarding area.

Blake, I totally agree with your analysis. Knowing that I like to travel. This journey fits right in. Thanks for the heads up. I hope that you get your scope done Sept. 7th . As far as Dr. Sanders is concerned do I need to bring my bi-pap machine in when I see him? Just wondering. At least that is why I think that I am seeing him. Still waiting to hear about an appointment time. I will probably call Dr. A.'s office this week for an update appointment date and time. Frances
