Has anyone tried these? I bought some today, they are no fat, no carb, high protein noodles made from soy and yam flour. There are lots of great reviews on the net. I am pre-op and looking for alternatives to pasta while trying to lose weight. Recipies, thoughts?

There's actually an article here on the site about these noodles. (try the search field top right) where did you purchase them?

I use them all the time and love them.  They also have some made with tofu, but then it has carbs.  The regular ones have 0.  My husband and I really like them.  We by them at an italian supermarket in Penticton of all places.  They are pricey, but worth it I think to have the feeling of eating pasta.

Sonia is it the dry ones that you get? I would prefer that. I have now tried the soy ones and i would really prefer to not have to deal with the unpleasant odor of them. Also, what is the brand name? I am going to victoria next week so will be on the lookout. Thanks.

No, the ones I get come wet in this little bag, but they are not the soy ones.  The brand name is just Miracle Noodle.  There is a little globe icon on there that is small that says Pareve.  Hope that helps.

Ron, I am in victoria this week and I just saw them at the Market on Yates in the tofu department cooler accross from the yogurt area. they also have them at the japanese grocery store next door in the cooler as well.

I am still on the hunt for the dried ones and am heading to chinatown after work to see if I can find any in an asian market.
