Thinking of my scope and the iv I'm pretty sure I'll need made me think of my phobia for
needles, iv's being the worse.
Years ago when my child had to do lots of needles for children's hospital the nurses let us in on a great little item called *chicken cream* aka Emla cream! It totally freezes your hand/arm and you can't feel the needles!
You can pick up packs at t he Superstore…apply to your hand a hour prior and voila no pain!

When I read this title I thought this was a cream you put on chicken … LOL.. then read the post and realized this sounds like something to numb skin intersting didnt know there was such a thing, is this like clove oil for a tooth ache.
Do you need a prescription for this

HAHAHAH, no it's for *chicken's* like me who almost pass out for iv's!
It's a over the counter med….you can get a huge tube which is $42 (I used it for my tatttoes) or the actual patches for iv's for $11.
Not too many people have heard of it, I only lucked out cause of my son :)

Thanks for posting this, although I thought it was a wierd chicken recipe too. my wife has to get botox injections for her legs and this sounds like it will do the trick. She gets 18 to 25 shots for her treatments and that is alot of pokes with long needs.

Blake that sounds so painful.
I had botox on my vocal cord nerves 12 years ago, they kept constricting when I breathed in, and I was chocking so they used this to fix the nerves, my throat relaxed and the vocal cords stopped doing this. They had to use a machine to know exactly where to put the botox.
