Oh Boy – Dr. Miller (endocrinologist) says I don't have to take insulin anymore.  Its been 3 months since my surgery so all I have to do is keep doing what I have been doing.

That is great news Blake, isn't that such a good feeling when you can get rid of one of your meds and don't have to depend on it anymore……I know that I was so happy when I was told I didn't have to take my metforman anymore after my surgery……

Yay!!!!  Amazing news!!!!  I'm still waiting to get rid of my metformin, I don't really need it but my GP is leary of getting rid of it (or my Crestor) just yet.

First visit with Dr. Tang December 2009, second visit June 2010.  Switched to Dr. Sampath, first visit April 2011.  RNY done on October 17, 2011!!!  HW:260 SW:232 CW:176.5 (March 31/12) GW:150

Hey Blake I had my surgery Dec 6th , I was on very high doses of insulin before surgery and I stopped taking insulin Dec 25th , it is unbelievable , i still can't rap my brain around it, good job on the no insulin, it really is the best feelin in the world. Enjoy . I love Dr Miller too.
