I am just wondering how much notice people get for their surgery dates. Like do they tell you a month ahead? More or less? I am mostly interested in surgerys done at Royal Jubilee in Victoria. thanks.

I had about 4.5 months notice but I think it all depends on Dr. Amson's schedule. In my case he was planning his fall surgeries before he went away on a seven week holiday. It also can depend on how many surgery spaces come open at a time. Sometimes they can cascade in a group.
