This is a little out of date, but it is very interesting never the less.  The CBC created this map that shows the bariatric surgery of each province.  If you want to see how things worked up to 2008 check out http://www.cbc.ca/news/interac…..tysurgery/.

Ontario is particularly interesting with a wait list of over 3500.  But they have since taken steps to change that.
