Well this recovery has certainly not been as smooth as I would have liked.  First I had thrush, an annoying problem with a simple fix.  Then last week I developed a pain in my side and after a CT scan the other day I find out that I now have a kidney stone!!!!  It apparently is small so I'm not sure what if anything will be done about it, in the mean time I'll just continue to drink my fluids, exercise (as best as I can since that definately makes the pain worse), eat healthy, take my supplements and hope for the best.  The good news is that I was promoted to soft foods yesterday!!!!  And I'm down 12lbs since surgery!!!!!

Congrats on the weight loss. Yuck……kidney stones. That is so frustrating especially at this early stage of your recovery. ITs not like you don't have enough to deal with. Hope everything gets easier for you.
