It has been a week today.I am still alittle sore, but feel good if you no what I mean.I have been eating yogurt, poached eggs and drinking small amounts of water.I am surprised how full I get on so little.I find if I drink water a little to fast it kinda hurts. We bought some baby food to try.I have been mixing protien in my yogurt.I haven't drank it alone yet because I don't think I could drink the hole glass yet.I am walking around. could anyone tell me how long before they started going to the gym.lifting weights and stuff.

I think I started going to the gym at four weeks but my surgery was done open. You are eating small amounts, in part, because your new pouch is swollen having just survived a major surgery. That's one reason this is the honeymoon phase that you should take advantage of. Once the swelling goes down you will be able to eat more and you might be just as shocked that you will be able to eat as much as you can than as you are surprised at how little you can eat now. :)

Congrats to you!!!
Dr. Amson told me a week or two, lol. When I went to see my dr at 10 days out to get the stitches out she told me to give it another week and I did..so I say give it another 2 weeks..although we all heal differently so I think you will just know when you are ready!
