Hey everyone!

I had my last appointment with Dr Amson before my surgery on Friday the 9th of September. Today (Sunday the 11th) is the day before my gastric bypass surgery. I am about ten minutes from swallowing the first gulp of the pico salax and let me tell you…I am nervous today. I don’t know if the word nervous describes it…it’s almost like a dream. Imagine waiting six years for something that will save your life and now you finally get it. It’s definitely like a dream. I remember saying to a few people that I wasn’t nervous, but truthfully I am. I am not nervous for the surgery itself, I am nervous for that damn I.V that they will have to put in my hand! I hate that thing. It hurts. And I can’t wait until I wake up from surgery alive and changed. I think  maybe anxious is the word I’m struggling to find. I am anxious for the surgery to be over and I am anxious for the weight loss to start! There..that fits. Excited as well. Okay well on to my Dr Amson appt…

It went okay. I waited for about 40 minutes, not too long of a wait. I met my friend Melinda (TheBunny) there so that was nice! I’m hoping she has good news soon! One round of Angry birds on my cell phone and I was in to see Dr A with my boyfriend in tow. I got into the room and Dr A was in such a hurry I barely squeaked out my 2 questions and then it was time to go! Basically a “See you on Monday” kind of thing! it was wierd! I am so happy though.
Well thats about all for me. I will post once I am through the anesthesia! lol.
