Welcome to the Weight Loss Surgery Support site (WLS Support – for short). We’re based in Victoria, BC.  The Western Capital of WLS in Canada. You’ll find information here on the most common WLS surgeries, as well as info like which surgery is covered by BC Medical and which is payee by the patient.

We also have many resources for your WLS  journey. There is a forum/discussion board, where you can communicate with other people who are on the same journey. You’ll find this invaluable. Talking to others who are further along the journey will save you from pitfalls they may have experienced.
