Q – How do you post an avatar? Does it have to be a picture of the poster?

I personally loaded my picture to the Gravatar site http://en.gravatar.com/ . That way any site that uses Gratars on the Internet will automatically send your picture to all your sites you login to. If you want to load your avatar here, You can:
# Click on Forum link at top of site – (This makes sure you're on the right page for the Forum Profile button)
# Just at the top of the list of forum topics, slightly to the right, you'll see “Logout”, “Members” and “Profile” links > click on the Forum “Profile link” – (it's just to the left of the DASHBOARD profile link.)
# On the next page will be a menu "across the page" - Look for "Upload my Avatar" - click on that link
# Look for the browse button – browse on your PC to the picture you want to use for your avatar. choose it.
# Goto the bottom of the Profile page and click the “Update Profile” button
Thats it ...note: You picture must be jpg format and not larger than 50x50 pixels.

ok, I feel dumb and I know this is somewhere else, but I can’t find it!
I’m on my profile page where it has colors, bio and user name and stuff, but can’t find avtar?
You’re probably on the “dashboard” profile page – you have to be on the forum page and click on the profile link on the right side of the page.
