Well I have had something wierd happen to me twice now. It’s a feeling I have when I haven’t pooped in 2 days or so. I get the urge to poop, so I go to the can and try to push and I end up salivating and puking up white phlegm. It’s very odd. I have no idea what this is, but the second time I figured out what I ate wrong. I had 1/4 cup honey nut cheerios as the last thing I ha before I went to bed, even though I had them about 4 hours before I went to bed, they must not have agreed with me the next morning. I will not eat those again. The plain multigrain ones are O.K for me, but I am avoiding those now too.
I am really on the fence about my no carb rule. I broke it with the cheerios and look what happened!. I have been doing good. No potatoes, no starchy vegetables (water based veggies only), no bread or noodles etc…but I feel like something is missing. Dr Amson has told me he doesn’t believe in the no carb thing…but I have tonnes of WLS friends who have warned me about the evils of carbs. And the longer that I wait to re introduce them the better off I will be. Is this true?? I know it has worked for them because they are looking fierce!!! I wasn’t a big bread eater before surgery so I’m fine with that but I love potatoes!!!! I know I eat protein first, veggies and then if theres a bit of room a bite of potato…but I cut the potato out.
So there is my dilemma…lol between the carb-less diet , my stress level and this whole pooping and puking thing I am dealing with…I’m ready to crack!
Oh and theres that wonderful scale. Hasn’t gone down in 5 days…in fact it went up!! UP??? I have gone to waterfit every damn day this week AND swam laps! How the *bleep* could it go up 2 pounds???????? Hmm??? Urg. Just feeling down and annoyed right now. I thought it was supposed to be this “honeymoon” period where the weight just falls off…YEAH RIGHT!..Not my body!
