New Gastric Bypass Surgery Offered – For Post-Ops

A new, less invasive surgical option for former gastric bypass patients is now available at the S.C. Obesity Surgery Center at Lexington Medical Center. Although not available in Canada yet, hopefully this surgery will address weight gain for some Post-op patients.
The procedure is called ROSE (for Restorative Obesity Surgery, Endolumenal), and it’s designed for gastric bypass patients who have begun to gain weight again as their smaller stomach pouch stretches out. Read the rest of this post
