Helping People Lose Weight Via Traditional & Surgery Alternatives
I have been trying to find new workouts as my usual ones are getting bored and as the weather gets increasingly cold, I do not feel like taking the bus home or venturing outside period. Since my body seems to be lacking all the insulation I once had, I feel the cold down to my bones.
I have grown to have a love hate relationship with Bob Harper. And there are times when I feel like telling Jillian Michaels to kiss my fat ass, and I do because she’s on the t.v and can’t hurt me in person!
I pop in the Biggest Loser workout DVD’s and go crazy now. I love them, but sometimes Bob Harper deserves a kick in the teeth. Sometimes I feel like he is asking a little too much of me. He wants me to jump, squat and lift weights all at the same time. By the middle of the 45 minute card strength portion of the workout I am swearing, sweating and telling Bob Harper to go and f*** himself, royally. But a week later after doing the dvd’s when I weigh myself I am then praising Bob Harper and his madness. Although I get my warm up from moving around my living room furniture so as to not injure myself in the act of fitness, I still find myself loving bob’s warm ups!
But then there are those days of mine that I still have…
Those “I just want to vegetate” days…mostly near or during my period. Hmm…connection here? I think so. lol.
But Bob Harper staring back at me from my shelf of fitness DVD’s gets to me and I hear him and Jillian screaming at me to GET OFF THE COUCH! so I do, and I feel much better afterwards. So Thank You Bob Harper!!! Really, Thank you!
I wish I could weigh myself now as I hit the 50 pound loss mark and then I got my womens gift that comes once a month. Blah. And right near Christmas. Geeze louize.
On the brighter side, my little black dress is getting to be almost too big, It is hanging off of me! I can wear 5 1/2 inch heels and walk perfect, and my feet don’t hurt as much. I still have bunions so there is still some foot pain, but it’s not as bad as before when I was heavier no matter what shoe I am in. The best feeling is when I walk up my stairs I am not out of breath, in fact I now run up and down them for added exercise during the day. I love this life. I love feeling better, I love being smaller, I love walking by a mirror and going “wow I look good” or “is that me?” Instead of avoiding the mirror. I love life, and before surgery I hated life.
I am so grateful to Amson for giving me this gift because at this Christmas season although I will be spoiled I’m sure of it, I already got the best gift of all…LIFE!
